                AdvancingCities is a $500 million, five-year initiative to invest in solutions that bolster the long-term vitality of the world’s cities and the communities within them that have not benefited from economic growth.

                JPMorgan Chase believes ensuring an expanding economy that creates greater opportunity for more people requires deliberate action and meaningful collaboration among the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Through our proven model for driving inclusive growth, we are taking a strategic, data-driven approach to doing just that.

                AdvancingCities Challenge


                The Challenge is a competition to source and seed creative, collaborative and sustainable solutions that address crosscutting challenges to help more people benefit from a growing economy. Through the Challenge, we will make commitments in up to 30 communities across the United States.

                  Chicago, Illinois

                  West Side United will leverage the hiring, procurement and investment power of major health systems on the West side to improve health outcomes by creating greater economic opportunity and strengthening the vitality of surrounding neighborhoods.
